Your friend just hopped out of the shower, but what about you? You’re already at the meeting point, of course. You are reliable and always on time.
We favor a relaxed atmosphere over too-serious formalities. Still, you never forget that your mum taught you how to greet and introduce yourself.
Which teams can you join?
When the event week kicks off, 100 speakers from all over the globe are heading to Graz and 5000 attendees are fired up for the festival. The same goes for our crew. You have the opportunity to join us as a volunteer in the following teams:
Mercedes-Benz Shuttle Service
The Shuttle Service is coordinating the transport of our speakers from the airport to their respective hotels. And all their other ways during the festival.
5000 attendees, partners, and speakers need to smoothly register for the festival on both days and must be equipped with wristbands and badges. That’s your job.
You will be the first contact person and companion for our international top-speakers. Cheerfulness and outstanding hospitality are our highest priorities.
It’s all about coordinated processes here. The logistics team is responsible for the festival’s efficient set-up and dismantling and never loses track of anything.
The interface between the technical support and our speakers. Our stage managers are responsible for a smooth flow on all of our stages during both festival days.
This team supervises the six different networking formats at the festival as well as those at the side events and supports their successful execution.
The expo team shines a light on our partner companies for the entire two festival days and provides attendees with helpful info in case of any questions.
Team assistants work closely with the Fifteen Seconds core team and support us in handling various organizational issues.
Construction & Destruction
This special team handles the festival construction prior to the event and the destruction afterwards. During the event it’s simply having a good time.

- In the next step you will receive an email with a positive or negative answer regarding your attendance as a festival volunteer.
- In case of a positive answer please block the entire festival week in your calendar (June 4 – June 10, 2018) for your commitment at Europe’s festival for curious minds.
- All further information (team assignment, briefing, crew guide) will be provided right in time before the festival.
Our volunteering program offers the chance to join our festival team. The primary compensation for the effort is the free participation and the related benefits (see “What’s in it for you?”). Due to legal compliance, every member of the program will be registered for minor employment and receive insurance.
